2018 AUTOTRADER / YOSHIMURA / SUZUKI FACTORY RACING TEAM
Joe Gibbs is known for saying, "In professional sports you win with people.” Coy Gibbs knows that building a motocross team from the ground up is no easy task, and having the right people will make all the difference in the success of the effort. Understanding that success in NASCAR will not directly translate into success in motocross, Coy has hired a team with extensive backgrounds in the sport. Jeremy Albrecht manages the Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team, and he is assisted by a crew of devoted and professional members. The team welcomes nearly a dozen new people for 2018, thanks in part to Suzuki's commitment to the JGRMX program.
Dean Baker once again will handle the engine development. Five-time Arenacross Champion Buddy Antunez serves as the assistant team manager and riding coach. Jonny Oler is responsible for the 450 suspension duties. Spencer Bloomer heads up research and development. Rene Zapata is the liason between JGRMX and Suzuki in Japan. David Evans takes care of sponsorship management, while John Basher serves as the communications manager. In total, there are 24 employees at JGRMX's headquarters in Huntersville, North Carolina. For 2018, we are excited to welcome Justin Bogle, Justin Hill, Kyle Peters and Jimmy Decotis, and welcome back Weston Peick and Phil Nicoletti.
